Austral’s fleet totals 19 vessels across three wild fisheries – ranging from the freezing sub-Antarctic to the tropical northern waters of Australia.

Austral’s premium, wild-caught seafood brands include Glacier 51 Toothfish, Skull Island Tiger Prawns and Karumba Banana Prawns. It is through these brands that Austral shares its stories and provides a world-class offering to importers, wholesalers, restaurants, chefs and customers across the globe.

These brands are available in a range of pack styles, cuts and weights, ranging from large fillets and H&G to pre-packed retail portions.

Austral Fisheries is committed to its responsibility as a steward of the ocean and the environment. Its Commonwealth-managed fisheries are certified as sustainable and well-managed by the Marine Stewardship Council, and Austral was one of the first in the world to adopt third-party sustainability certification.

In 2016, Austral Fisheries became the first seafood business in the world to be certified as carbon neutral. The company offsets 100% of the emissions created by its operations by planting over 220,000 trees every year in the Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor, four hours north of Perth, WA.
